The President on the Picket Line

Customer Comments

The whole room needs to be renovated. It's old-fashioned compared with other hotels of this standard (best location).

I am upset that I was not informed that there was a strike or I would not have stayed here.

The rooms are uncleaned due to strike.

I find it hard these people supported the hotel to make a profit, but they languish in front. Please do something to make them happy and I bet they'll make you even happier.

The hotel has been great for the time that I've been here. I believe they should pay their employees competitive wages.

Really too low wages, but the place is clean and enjoyable.

No water in vending machine!

Miscalculate my account and overcharged for one day. The front desk was rude and unhelpful and didn't fix my problem. No refrigerator in the room. It was noisy and the door didn't seal so we could hear the other room clearly, even their phone calls.

Overall I enjoyed the room and the resturant. However, it makes me sad that a hotel that nice cannot treat their workers fairly. Nothing wrong with making money, but when you don't care who gets hurt in the process; that's when money becomes a bad thing. I enjoyed my stay there but if the hotel cannot treat its workers fairly; I will find a place that does.

Restaurant was locked with chains around the door from the lobby, the floorboards need repair, the fire escape window was sealed and the 2nd window won't open, and there were long tears in the carpet.
